Sony Xperia Z1 battery Problem

Hello Guys:

I have problem with my Sony Xperia Z1 mobile.

Can anyone explain why this is happening?

My battery drained from more then 90% to 15% immideately in 2~3 min. But funny thing is, when I recharge, it is back to around 80% very quickly again in few minutes...

I have this problem, and I tried to factory set my mobile, everything work normal again. But unfortunately when I Restore my backup file earlier, Battery problem suddenly happen again.

My question is, Is there any bug in Sony operating system?

The reason why i am telling this because I don't think this is my mobile battery problem, must be some kind of setting modified my battery life when i did restore.

I hope Sony solve this problem ASAP...

Hi Dostum,

Welcome to the community,

This sounds like you have a problem with the content on the backed up file.

I could only really suggest that you try a reset again and only import specific data, such as messages, call logs and media, however system data should be not be moved across.

Give that a go and see if the issue continues, and let us know.

I did a clean factory reset my phone by following your instruction.

Unfortunately, I still getting sudden drain on my battery.

Most recent one was last night, it was automatically turned off when battery shows around 45%.

I wish you could help...
