Xperia Z3 Screen Damage

I dropped my xperia Z3 (bought from Amazon.Com - International Version) and now the screen is damaged and touch is not working anymore.

How do i get it repaired? THe phone is currently in India, however the service center in India are saying that given that it was bought from US, it can only be repaired in US. I have been trying to find "Contact US" information at following link [http://support.sonymobile.com/us/contactUs/] but i dont see any information on that screen.

I will greatly appreciate if someone can give me direction as to get the phone repaired.

Click on need a repair then select the country - Contact details for that country will appear or if available select live chat support

I have been trying to click on "Need a Repair". However, i have not been able to get any contact information.

I will appreciate if you can post the numbers for US. I have bough it from Amazon.Com and trying to figure out who can help me here?

It's a bit poor that you have to get it fixed in the country you bought it. Why is this? Sony operates internationally! Is this just in the hope that a few people won't be able to persue this (because they've permanently moved country/given it as a gift to someone who lives abroad) and so Sony will save a little money? Bit unprofessional if you ask me.

Some countries have different rules and regulations regarding warranty and I would imagine this plays a part. Eg rooting your device will void the warranty in some territories. But not others. Very professional in my opinion!

I am okay with voiding the warranty but telling me that there is technical limitation to do certain fix because the phone was bought in a different country is not something global companies like SONY should have.

Anyways, can someone give a phone number that i can use to reach to SONY Mobile folks to understand how do i fix this issue or at this point i have to start exploring local "non official" solutions.

I'm sorry to hear that you have'nt been referred correctly.

The warranty is regional and not world wide so in this case you will need to contact the local support for the market which you bought the phone from. USA has its own warranty conditions.

The India repair center may not be able to assist you since the Xperia Z3 comes in different versions, US having their own version so the repair center may not have the needed parts.

I dropped mine from hand height and it shattered cost me $250 to replace screen.

I couldn't go without a phone for 2 weeks.

No Guarantee they would even replace it after the two weeks or more.

Almost bought a different phone outright but my sim wouldn't fit.

Kinda suprised it broke from they height.

BTW, I bought this model from AMazon, Sony Xperia Z3 D6653 International Version

Is this something that India center shoudl be able to help given that its an International Version?

No just a regular repair store.

It was the cheapest I could find some places wanted close to $400 and didn't even have the screen in stock.

This along with my corner peice falling off within a week of ownership makes me think the phone is ultra fragile.
Large screen prone to a screen that will shater easily.

Was completely unusable couldn't even answer calls.

I don't think any screens are replaced via warranty.
Not worth going without a phone for stock a long time.

Was the first phone screen I've ever had to replace

Last month only I purchased xperia Z3 and with my bad luck its screen got cracked.

Now service center has given me the estimation of 11K in order to repair it but its pathetic as after spending 40K last month again charging this much.

I request you people please provide any help if its possible
