Xperia Z2 Overheating

I Just Bought my Xperia Z2 2 days ago but the phone is Overheating in normal use updated to latest firmware but nothing new still Overheating any help?

When the phone starts overheating, what application are you using and how long are you using that application before the phone starts to heat up?

And other problem to when I turned off my phone and put into charge shows the battery 50% I turned it on shows the battery 57% I Turned it off again shows it 50% 😕

If you recently updated,the battery and the system will be stabilized after some days.

update yesterday to 726 firmware then connected my phone to pc companion again and i click on repair it's reflashed lollipop update again but this time with factory rest but nothing new battery drain fast and phone overheating if i play asong cpu temperature up to 60 °C And Battery temperature is 37 °C

which apps are running in the background? were you playing games and/or recording on 4K?

No M8 Just facebook and whatsapp working on background and using chrome browser i never played on my phone

it could be facebook, also check if the playstore its auto-updating apps and G+ auto backup it's on

latest updates m8

screen on with out any running apps 40 c .. Screen off for like 5 min and on it again was 33 c .. played video up to 44 c ( NO APPS INSTALLED YET )

and in 20 mins i lost 7% percent of battery

is that good or what

turn it off for 20 minutes > let it cool down > turn it back on and check again.

also

settings > apps > running

and

settings > power management > battery (which apps are running/using up your battery)?

there's like 13 apps runnig and battery usage is screen 29% and android system 5 % android os 5 % and cell standby 3% play store 2%
