Is it possible that the GPS antenna pins or connections aren't touching or is it a case of it simply won't turn on, If it is then your phone thinks there's no GPS device connected so can't turn on something that isn't there

It will turn on, and try to look I'm thinking that the pins are not touching the back case. I'll make sure they touch then try again.
I'm gunna take it all apart again to check

I've not taken mine apart but some devices have a small coax type cable connecting the antenna to the board, A lot like the connectors you'd see on a laptop and the wifi card

Hi i have a similar issue. Can anyone tell me if the small shiney foam pad on the lower board with the shiney coating makes a connection to anything or is it to just hold the board in position.

Thankyou!
