bluetooth keeps disconnecting with heart rate sensor

Hi,
I recently bought one of the Bluetooth LE Heart Rate Sensor. It is a brand called "MEDISANA" that you can get in Germans market Lidl.
I tried to pair it in several sports applications like Endomondo, Adidas Micoach etc and they all fails. In Endomondo sensor is keep connecting and disconnecting....
I've also tried to pair same sensor on my mate Z2 running KitKat 4.4.4 but end up with same results.
Yesterday I loaded official Lollipop 5.0.2 to my Z3C but nothing change to my surprise....
The funny thing is that same Heart Rate Sensors works fine on my wife cheep Nokia Lumia 520 and also on one of my colleagues android 4.4.2 (dont remember the brand).
So it looks like the issue is only related to Sony's mobile.
Does anyone has faced same kind of issues with BTLE sensors?

Have you contacted the manufacturer to see if it is compatible?

Hi Thommo,
Manufacturers says it is compatible with any Android Version 4.3 onwards and Bluetooth 4.0 technology.
As I already wrote I tested it on non sony mobile running android 4.4.2 and BT 4.0 and it was working fine, it's also works fine on windows phone 8.1.
I cant see this to be a heart rate sensor issue rather sony bt le implementation that has issue with this device.
btw, I've also replaced this sensor in the shop with another copy to rule out possibility of faulty device but this nothing change as new device behaves exactly same.

Have you checked the Smart connect app and also contacted Xperia care to see if they know of an compatibility issue?

I have Smart Connect app installed, never used it before, Just tried to add heart rate sensor now in this app, it is visible on accessible device list but when I click on it I got a message "connection rejected by Heart Rate Sensor".
I didn't contacted xperia care yet, thought that may find some help here first.

Like I said ask the manufacturer - Possibly they didn't add a bit of code like some apps on the Play store work with some models and not others even though they are running the same firmware version and are near identical in specifications

or maybe Sony doesnt wrote the driver..... as it easy to blame the other vendors but they dont have a problem to support this piece of hardware, only sony does

Sorry but why is every little thing that goes wrong or isn't supported due to compatibility always Sony's fault - It's never the manufacturer or developers fault - Like i said contact the manufacturer and if they say it's compatible then ask for a statement saying so.

I've the exact samen issues and the heart rate monitor did work on my Xperia Z. It seems to occur specifically on the z3 compact...

And I read that polar has similar issues with connecting to the z3 compact.

I've got the same problem as described above. I've got SIGMA R1 HRM with Bluetooth Smart and can achieve a connection with other smartphones but not with Xperia Z3 Compact. Every other smartphone ask for code for HRM, which is 00000000 in this case. Xperia doesn't even try to ask - it only shows the message it can't connect with the device. Other Bluetooth connections (not smart) work fine, so I suspect Z3 Compact has something wrong with Bluetooth Smart driver. Does SONY plan to do anything with that?
