C6603 Lollipop - mobile data in apps not working

Seems very strange issue - I have mobile data on and it is working good in chrome, but not in skype/viber. Tried to reboot and reinstall the viber - and it doesen't helped.

Seems there must be some kind of permission maybe? Very weird situation.

same on Skype, Hearthstone etc... Should I inform them too?

And it is working OK with Wi-Fi, only mobile data is glitchy

done few times. Working OK in chrome and play market but not in 3d-party apps

It's 2g so it's not very fast, but it is enough to even play hearthstone while moving so I guess there is no problem there.

Hi,

Perhaps this can be related to Proxy/Port for your APN settings. Could you go to Settings > More... > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > Tap your internet APN > If you have Proxy/Port added, remove it and try again.

Reset to defaults all internet settings(actually it deleted all) & getting them back automaticly haven't helped =(

Fixed with getting the internet data from the provider site - update forgotten most of my settings and only wap and mms settings were got automaticly from settings. SMS with settings worked fine and now I have full access.

Xperia Z: mobile data not working after lollipop 5.0.2 update

Hi ,

I upgraded my xperia Z last week to Lollipop 5.0.2 and performed all network related settings like taking the internet settings from the service provider, restarting the phone,etc.

I do see a H+ symbol on my Xperia z but internet do not work.

It was working fine with KitKat.

Please help
