Forgot Pattern lock Xperia Z1 Compact

I forgot my new pattern lock on my xperia z1 compact, i havent set up gmail profile to the phone so i cant unlock with gmail.. I also have tried to update/format the phone with Sony PC Companion, but i keep getting the error, as you can see in the screenshot below:

Also, i watched a youtube video about this Sony PC Companion updating/formatting, and i noticed that i dont get this window which is supposed to pop up in the beginning (Screenshot below taken from the Youtube video) :

you are probably using a 64bit system or Win8/8.1 which has an issue with Driver signing and is an issue that is from M/S not Sony - I can only advise that you try compatibility mode or use another Pc that is Win7 or below and 32bit

Thank you! I have Windows 7 64 Bit, so i ran the program in Windows XP Service Pack 3 compatibility mode and it worked.
