Error when checking for software update for xperia z3v

Im currently on android version 4.4.4 and I want to check for an update. When I click System Updates -> Check for new software update, I get this error: "Error during DM session". I'm still getting this error after doing a factory reset.

Any Ideas?

Also, Im running my phone on WIFI only as I do not have a SIM card yet.

Im not sure....I can see in the confuguration that the rooting status is "Bootloader unlock allowed: No"

Just realized that you have the Verizon Z3, you can't unlock the bootloader, what if you use PCC?

It looks like the PCC doesn't support the Z3v (D6708) yet. I could not find it in the list of products at all. Very strange.

select the Z3, it won't install the Z3's software, it will show you the steps.

It says that the PCC can't update my phone and I have to use Verizon's software update tool

I got this issue reolved. For anyone wondering I ended up getting my phone activated with my sim card and the error went away.

Hey, I have the same problem, but I am using my phone (z3v)in the dominican republic with a local carrier, that meaning I can't have a Verizon sim. Is there any way for me to update my phone in this particular case?

The Xperia Z3V its for Verizon wireless, it won't work with other networks. Keep in mind that Verizon is a CDMA not a GSM network

My xperia z3v is a CDMA phone. It works perfectly fine here. All the functions and features, I am even answering you from my phone. It is just this, when I try to look for updates it says "error during DM session". Is there any solution for this?
