Z3 compact bluetooth handsfree problem

Hi forum

i have a Huyndai i10 (the 2014 version) with build-in bluetooth - ever since i got the car from brand new in may, i have used my old Samsung Galaxy Wonder without any issues at all.

Today i got my Xperia Z3 compact - i paired it with the car without any problems - i can call and i can receive calls perfectly.

BUT - the syncronization of contacts and call history fails every time. It says 'Downloading' for some minutes and the give an error message.

Please can someone help - i really miss my full handsfree functionality!!

Hi MotomanDK,

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

With the information supplied, I can suggest that you first try performing a reset to the in car kit and also remove the Bluetooth connection from the device.

Once done try using the service. The issue you may have here is that not all Bluetooth devices are going to be able to work with the in car system, this is due to a number factors related mostly to Bluetooth profiles.

The system/phone works correct on bluetooth now.

I removed the old Samsung profile from the car-internal- system and when i paired the SONY and the car once more, the phone now asked if i would share the contacts and the historical data - i accepted and everything works like it is supposed to!

Hi there I have a stereo with bluetooth (2.0) in my car, which worked perfectly with my old Sonyericsson z710i, later the same with Xperia ZR, but now my Z3compact doesn't even see the device! May be there are some hidden options or settings for the bluetooth in my phone? I tried to reset the device, but it won't help. Its BT settings are not many, just on/off, auto or manual pairing and the pairing code, tried all of that.
