Removing retail demo

I cannot get the retail demo video to stop. It plays all the time and deletes apps and things.

I've tried the *#*#sellmore#*#* and when I type this is nothing happens. I've googled for ages looking for a solution.

How can I check if the phone is a retail phone and if it is is there anything I can do? I got a from a friend

Dial *#06*# and look for the IMEI number, if you can't find one most likely it is a Demo unit

Doesn't do anything that, the number just disappears when you finish typing if

you are supposed to type it and wait few seconds, you might want to take it back to the store if nothing work

Actually the code seems to have turned it off even though it didn't say anything but whenever the phone is reset or even factory data reset it comes back on and also has a list of contacts that I have no idea who they are.

Odd, it'll be wise to delete everything with PCC, re-install the latest update

Thank you, will give it a go. I just download that on my laptop I presume and then there will be a button to erase all content and settings?

It won't let me do it until the device is over 50% charged but when I charge it the video doesn't stop playing so it is taking along time

Make sure to charge if through a wall charger, otherwise it will take quite a bit of time to charge

Ok I've just done this and it's still there along with the pre loaded contacts. Any other suggestions? Taking it back to the shop is not an option as I got it from a friend and she got it from phones 4 u. It may have been used as a store demo

when i am typing this code it shows "this device is only for store use, demo video cannot be deactivated"

I can't get the "Service Code" Box to come up. In the settings there's a "Service Dial Number" Box, but when I touch it I get a "Service dial number is unavailable" What would be the best solution around this to get the retail demo up and running.

Flash the last stock rom using Flashtool or EMMA, it removes the retail demo app.
