[Z] Bluetooth, receiving files ok, sending fails (the peer is OS X)

Xperia Z with Sony original Android 4.3.? on it is paired via Bluetooth with OS X the latest official version .

OS X hardware is a 2013 build.

Pairing works pretty well.

Sending files from OS X to this Xperia Z works fine.

Sending files in the opposite direction (Xperia Z to OS X) fails.

Sending is carried out from 3rd party file manager, selecting the file to be pushed,

then selecting Share via Bluetooth.

Xperia Z reports error. OS X doesn't get alerted in any way of incoming Bluetooth request.

What is the possible reason?

The root reason was found.

Sharing through BT was disabled on the mac, system preferences - sharing.

After had it enabled sending from Xperia to Mac works fine.
