xperia ZL microphone issue

I have xperia ZL from past 1 year(now out of warranty).today while making call i realised the other person can not hear anything,but having checked microphone on diagnostics software or while using on other apps like whatapp or even on ok Google it works fine.I am having kitkat 4.4.2 (.230) update.so please help me with the issue.
Is this software issue?
Whether I should repair my phone?
Or there is something else that can be done?

Disable microphone noise suppression in call settings.

Thanks alexdon for replying.I hav disabled the same & will try call with this setting.but I hav been using the phone with noise suppression on all the time & there was no issues with calling.so is this software bug?

I cannot say.you have to check and see how it is.There might be a problem with your SIM.

Thanks alexdon disabling noise suppression worked.
Microphone is now working in calls.
I just disabled it nd did restart.hopefully it wont come again!!

Hi, I faced the same issue but after disabling the "Microphone Noise Suppression" it is now working fine...

But it was suddenly started two weeks ago and no idea why it occured.

i got the same problem with my XPERIA ZL.

enable disbale microphone noice did not help anything.

Person who is on the call cannot hear my voice.

I also face the same issue. Caller on other side cannot hear my voice clearly. My voice is getting suppressed. I tried after disabling the Noise Suppression, but not helping. Please help me
