camera issue after taking photos

hello,

i got issue. every time when i want to take picture it freezes.

like i press to take photo but it doesnt save and freeze.

i restored it twice but still same issue.

storage is internal and almost empty ...

it really pissing off ... cant take not a single photo ..

any advices ?

Try to clear data for camera app under settings-apps-all and restart your device.

I have spoken to Sony and they confirm that this (camera freezing issue) is a known issue that will be addressed in the next firmware update. I have asked Sony how long they have known about the issue and why Sony has not let customers know that it is a known bug on this forum.

Awaiting answers.

Have you got any comment on the matter Sony forum Admin?

I am not working for Sony.I can assure that not everyone has this problem,in some cases 3rd party apps are related to the malfunction of the camera.

what ever is the reason even if it is a 3rd party app. this issue is not there in other devices!! its only in z1 .

we have 3 devices at home and all of them with the same freezing issue and also the white pic at low light.

it seams like a flash reflection or somthing even without case, cover or protector at the back.

if sony said will fix it and they now it thats appreciated and I really dont care about the issue if they admit and they will fix it but wt I care about is WHEN and WHY is that Delay!!

am not comparing here but when APPLE found and issue with the ios 8,1 update they have stopped it and second or third day the new 8.2 update is available.

that service we are waiting from SONY though Im a fan of SONY and Im buying there products long time ago coz I trust the quality part.

I wish they will not put me down coz I made alot of ppl to but the same phone in the last few weeks..

and if this countinued without update I will really be hated..lol
