Hi!

Am I just a thick **bleep** or is it selfexplanatory how to use location based wifi?

Are you meant to have the Wi-Fi button ON or OFF when you're using location based wifi or is it meant to go on automatically when you are in the range of a certain wifi router? It states that it should "switch it on" whenever a configured network is within range but it doesn't.

If it is meant to go on automatically when you are within in range of a certain network, how did it get there in the first place? Yes, I know, stupid question. You have to switch Wi-Fi on initially and tell the Z2 that this is a network that I want you to connect to.

Anyway, perhaps some wizard can share some thoughts on this one...

Regards

The wifi should turn on automatically when in range of those networks you have.Doesn't it happen?Do you use stamina too?

Try to disable stamina and see how it goes. Also,in wifi-advanced,there is an option scanning always available.

Leave it ON when using Wi-Fi and forget when going out.. the system will turn it OFF automatically.
If you wanna go back to Wi-Fi You need to turn the screen ON, cause Stamina mode is blocking any network operations.
Unlock it for 3 - 5 sec till the wi-fi logo apears and you good to go.
