Did you have media volume set to 0? I was running the test too and the loudspeaker failed. Then i figured that I just had volume set to lowest

Hi,

The loudspeaker works fine otherwise? Like if you playing a song from the Walkman player?

Do you have any wired or Bluetooth accessories connected to the phone when you did the test?

Sound like it could have been the volume. Either way I'm glad to hear that you find a simple solution.
