I have the phone for 3 days. Several hours ago i tried to "show off" and cleaned my phone in the kitchen sink in front of my friend. After an hour I noticed that the proximity sensor was not working. On a close look i noticed moisture in the proximity sensor window. I'm really sure I've closed the covers properly.

P.S. When I look in the headphone jack I can see a light from the screen. Is this normal?

No. I've tested this. Just reset my phone but the proximity sensor is still not working. Plus - the moistureis still there.

Maybe it just needed some time to dry. Refrain from using a blower, though.

Waiting for the moisture to go away helped

I'm really disappointed. Being water/dust proof was a big selling point to me. Maybe the problem is just with my unit but ... I'm still wondering if I should keep it or return in to the retailer and ask my money back.

Put it near a dehumidifier, so moisture will be absorb however it is very disappointing to know that Sony fails in the humidity proff section
