Power button came out

Hello,
My power button's side ring came out. My phone was not fallen now rough used.. Will I get my phone repaired. Before sleeping I kept my phone beside me before sleeping and in morning when I took my phone I pressed my power key the ring came out n now my that ring is lost. Will this get repaired?

I read about this before on this forum I believe and it was somebody in Sweden who experienced the same issue as you. I remember that he was referred to send it to the Sony repair center but I don't know if he went through with it and reported back with the results. I do not recommend gluing the ring back or anything like that. If you are still under warranty then Sony really should repair this for you.

Ya m under warranty but what if they blindly say that I have rough used my phone or happen due to external force.. Bcoz I have not done it came out on its own

I will go to service centre tomorrow but will this get repaired.. My power key is working but onto the side ring came out 😞

Keep it away from water, I don't think it will be cover under warranty but that's my opinion

Y but y it won't cover under warranty my power key is working fine only the side show ring came out.

That's just my opinion, but to be certain you have to stop by your local Sony Xperia Center

No they are charging me Rs. 10000. And it was not my fault. It was an manufacturing defect

They said they will. I have given my phone to repair in mumbai but the actual decision will be taken by the dehli xperia service center. 😞

Hey man I hv got the same problem... Ring of power button plus speaker grille and one of flaps got Loosen up.. Havnt got time to go to xperia center... Do update me after u got ur device serviced.. Btw im from delhi

Yes they have repair my phone. I got my phone yesterday :-). I also had camera and battery problem so they changed the mother board and my phones imei number got changed. This was done under warranty.
