Walkman lock screen widget missing

Hi, for the last couple of days I have seen that the Walkman widget that is present in the lock screen when I am listening to music is absent.

As you can see in the pic, the Walkman is running but the widget is absent.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I can't see the picture until its approved by a moderator.

do you have a pin lock, password lock or pattern lock?

Hi Admin, I also noticed this too since upgrading to latest Android software.

I always had used patern lock screen and the Walkman widget to stop/play/skip tracks was always accessible until after the upgrade.

Also I was able to access my calendar widget by swiping to the right, but now that is also not there.

No, I don't use any of those

I just use the swipe Method

Should I uninstall it?

Go to settings> security and check enable widgets if unchecked

Hi Senhoy, thanks for your response, I already had widgets enabled.

However since you guys mentioned removing Smart Key, I went into the Smart Key app and turned OFF the Music (default) and now the walkman widget and my calendar widget is now accessible on my lock screen!!! Thanks Guys.

Good day, I have a similar problem I can't add any widgets on my lock screen and "settings> security" is not present as an option. How do i fix this? I just upgraded to Android Version 5.0.2, Build number 14.5.A.0.242

I have the same problem on my Sony Xperia Z and I don't have smart key installed what should I do? I also went to security but I can't find the enable widget option
