They can. Its called the Z2! (3Gb vs 2Gb)

Yeah I know, my Z1 is only 4 months old. As is the "free" SmartWatch 2 I got with it. Which I can't use as the Android 4.3 update screwed up the Bluetooth so it doesn't connect correctly.

Connect your phone to the PC and reinstall. errors will be repaired

what is the visible RAM on xperia Z1,On mine it shoVs abt 1.6GB
