3G should work with any carrier in your country

Claro SV 1900

Movistar SV 850 / 1900

TIGO SV 850

Xperia Z1 3G frequencies

HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - all versions

the C6902 its 3G only, C6906, C6943 are LTE, now, I don't think there's LTE at El Salvador just yet.

Also keep in mind that you are not going to have warranty since you will buy it from a different country.

That you can use it with any carrier/network, in other words, you can use that phone as soon as you insert your MICRO SIM card.

Make sure that it is indeed a MICRO SIM card NOT a trimmed SIM card

No, you need a MICRO sim card, not a regular SIM card, nor a nano sim card
