Stereo sound/Volume issue

hi all

I bought a xperia z brand new and my problem is with the volume, each time I insert my earphone the volume drops completely even if I take it up it drops after a few seconds and it switches to other apps as if on short cut. This only happens each time I put the ear phones. I am using the original earphone for the phone. When a call comes in the person on the other side can not hear me if I remove them it hangs up my call.

this is frustrating so much your help will be much appreciated

Check in the 'smart connect' app what event is supposed to happen when you plug in your earphones,it could be wrongly set.

"smart connect" is giving a lot o trouble on Z Ultra, we dont really need it actually, i suggest to uninstall it.

Can't do,but can be disabled.
