Doubt ringtone

Would know me if I can put different songs ringtone to different contacts or groups in my Xperia Z1, as only I get to do this by putting a song with Walkman and other tones. Thank you very much.

You can add a ringtone to a specific contact if you go to Contacts > Tap on the contact > Press on the edit symbol in the top right corner > Press the menu-button (three dots) > Set ringtone.

To assign to a group I am afraid it is not possible,I rememeber one of the sony staff members said it (I think Johan).

I already have tried and does not work if I try to put an MP3, however if I put a tone if it works.
By going to complete the action selector internal storage and only leave me sound tones or sounds, but not my songs (I do not care if the internal memory or SD Blast).
If you complete the action with solid explorer (since it is the only browser that leaves me here of the three I have installed) look for the MP3 and then confirm it does not load the song as a ringtone.
Not if I have to have the files in a default folder or a different format for the recognition or the terminal does not work properly, thank you very much for the help.
