Widgets not updating

I have an issue where my homescreen widgets are not updating after about half an hour.

I was using the Xperia Home app, and the bundled clock worked fine, but if I added a widget that updated, such as the WiFi Manager one, or Extended Controls, they work fine for about 30 mins then stop updating, so even though my battery condition changed, or I changed to a different WiFi SSID or something the widget isn't showing the updated into. Because of this, and because I don't think you can adjust the number of icons (rows and columns) shown on the homescreen with Xperia Home, I downloaded and installed Apex which I was using on my Galaxy SII. But same thing happens with the widgets, they work and update fine for a while but then stop.

Interestingly the clock widget bundled in Xperia Home (that doesn't appear to be available to other launchers) continues to work and show the correct time, but a different clock widget in either launcher app, exhibits the same frozen problem after 30 mins or so.

It's like the launcher update process is being cleared out of memory after a certain time.

I have set Apex to 'KEEP IN MEMORY' but that hasn't made any difference, and the rest of the launcher works fine.

Any one else seeing this and anyone have any suggestions for fixing it?

I have tried a handful of launchers and it's the same on all, and I have tried quite a few different widgets.

For some reason last night at about 10pm they all started updating again on both launchers, then stopped again at 2.31 in the morning!

Can you please try this (you will need to place the widgets again after): Main Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Xperia Home > Clear Data.

I face the same problem.. widgets like Wifi manager and Power toggles does not work. Neither refresh nor toggle functions.

but this is not Sony bot some Chinese, MTK based phone.

After factory reset. . Was working for some hours, and again nothing...

I was trying to find something whole day, and did not find anything

Yep me too on latest firmware version 8. Screen widgets not refreshing its like they've been killed by a background power monitor But none active or installed.

Please fix this.
