Phone can only be charge when battery hit 0%

Like the title say, my Xperia Z2 can only be charged when battery at 0% and only through the micro usb, the magnetic charger won't charge it at all. If I tried to charge it at above 0%, the phone won't detect the charger.

This happened suddenly without anything weird happened to the phone before.

Weird thing is, I can easily transfer file from my pc to phone and vice versa. It just the charging part that seems to be having the problem.

I suspected the battery is at fault here but any help from the expert are really appreciated

you will have to get a new battery, it will be smart to test different charging cables and wall chargers
