If it doesn't work when using the power button, you can follow the instructions below.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class="li-content"&gt;Detach the cover for the micro SIM card holder.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class="li-content"&gt;Using the tip of a pen or a similar object, press and hold down the OFF button.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class="li-content"&gt;After your device emits a series of quick vibrations, release the OFF button. The device turns off automatically.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="li-content"&gt;When the device is turned off, make sure that it's not connected to your computer and open up Xperia Companion &amp;gt; click on "Software repair" &amp;gt; check the little box in the bottom left corner &amp;gt; Next and follow the on screen instructions.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Let me know if that helps!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
