Location based wifi

I can't seem to get this to work. GPS is on, have cleared the data from the app. It doesn't switch wifi off when I leave a registered area (don't think it's supposed to) and doesn't switch it on when return to a resisted area. Have searched forums and can't find an explanation.

I haven't been able to replicate this, seems to be working just fine in my Xperia Z1 running on the .257 software.

Which build number are you running on?

(Settings > About phone > Build number)

Try clearing data for the Location based Wi-Fi application in the phone. This will delete all your saved networks for this feature.

Settings > App's > All > Location based Wi-Fi > Clear data.

Then try again.

This service runs on mobile triangulation not GPS, so make sure that you network operator supports this.

Have tried clearing data from the app. I am on T Mobile in UK, not sure how I check they support this

Problem solved, checked coverage from T Mobile, seems we are in a bit of hole. Wifi switching on if I stand on the other side of the road!!!!
