Hi all,

I just received my Xperia Z3 today, which was an e-bay purcahse. However, I have struggled the whole day trying to get the phone to make or receive phone calls. I called my service provider, they went through all possible software reset solutions, none of it worked. I even factory reset it couple of times...

So I thought, I might give Sony PC Companion a try to see if it could repair it. But PC Companion showed the following error message:

">>No software found

>>Authentication failed. Software update or repair of prototype devices is only allowed from specific IP addresses.

>>An error occurred while repairing your device

>>Please try the following:

>>Disconnect and turn off the device
>>Select Repair on main screen
>>Tick My device cannot be found...
>>Press Next and follow the instructions
>>If the problem persists, please contact Sony support."

When I followed the above instruction, the system then gave me another error message, something about repair failed. If the problem persisted, contact Sony.

I have tried multiple times, always the same result.

Could someone please help me please?

My phone software version: 1282_2729_23.5.A.0.570 GENERIC - user

File system version: GLOBAL-LTE_23.5.A.0.570

Customization Version: 1288_4387_R3D

Thanks in advance!
