topic phone jack not working in Z Series

I have an Xperia Z3 compact. My head phone jack as suddenly ceased working – the phone will not sense the presence of any device plugged in. It is definitely the jack as my headphones and speakers work on other devices and on this phone in the past, and I assume it is an internal hardware problem. I have tried all the usual potential remedies, but of course feel free to suggest other possible things to do that might remedy this that I have not thought of.

This is especially disheartening as I use the FM radio function frequently and now am unable to use it.

I understand there are options for continuing ti listen to things with the phone, though resent the possibility of having to purchase Bluetooth devices or the EC 270 USB connector. But I have questions -

Will the radio function using the EC270 dongle? If not, is there any way to use the FM radio function without having the phone jack repaired?

If not, I assume I will need to have the phone physically repaired. Does Sony have a service or recommended / authorized network of service providers?

Thank you.
