After preforming a Xperia Companion software repair I am no longer able to log into my Google Account during the initial setup on my Z5. I successfully enter my password and email along with the 2 factor verification. After that it prompts do you want this device to grant access to future account sign in requests at which point I press Allow. After pressing Allow it briefly flashes unable to sign into Account for up to 24 hours after a password change. Same result trying various options available.

I have not change my password and have comfirmed at https://myaccount.google.com/security that my password has not changed since 2011! I tried removing the Z5 on Google's security side incase it was a server side issue however same issue after attempting to sign in.

I noticed on https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/6172890 "You can sign in with any Google Account previously added and synced to the device as an account or user, but not as a guest. If you can't give this information during setup, you won't be able to use the device at all after factory reset." I did sign in as a secondary user (not the owner who is my wife) a day before preforming the Xperia Companion Software Repair.

Any suggestions?
