How do i update my D6503???

So i recently got my Z2 (just five hours) So how Do I update it??? I go to settings it says software update, it jumps to update center and it says all clear, while stuck on 4.4, what do i do??

Im in Puerto Rico if that helps

Download and install Xperia Companion on your PC/Mac, and use a USB cable to connect your Z2 to it. It will check automatically for updates.

And it's not about purchase or origin country, it's about a specific character of your mobile/tablet called "customization version". You can check this version by dialing the code *#*#7378423#*#* the tap on "Software info", if you want me to check if this specific customization version has the update released or not I can help you with that.

Thanks @Quester, i got a couple of friends that have PCs that can help, eh well if you can, I'll be extremely thankful,but isn't there like a manual mode???

My Customization Version is 1281-4640_R2B
