System becomes very slow

I experience every few weeks, that the whole system becomes slow. I can even see the icons being drawn. Touch is almost unusable, since the reaction time is in seconds.

The applications that are running also run when this problem does not occur.

It does coincidence with battery level.

Closing applications does not heal the effect.

The only way to get rid of it is to restart the device.

Any ideas ?

It can be a 3rd party app acting up in the background, or simply an aged OS. If you didn't reset or repair your phone's software recently, I'd suggest that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. Don't forget to backup using Xperia Companion, but preferably without adding apps or settings to the backup.
