I have 3 natel Sony xperia z3 compact that have the same problem: LCD that does not fully or partially respond. The 3 are moderately used, one even was under repair!
Note that Sony xperia z3 compact is the high range of Sony.
I think it's a mistake in the design:
Sony uses an adhesive tape instead of screws to hold the LCD glued. With use or heat (pocket, hand ...) then it starts to come off.
I like that we gather our efforts to file a complaint against Sony because it is shameful what continues to operate in the smartphone sector

My z3 compact has the same problem since 1 week ago. On two parts of the screen it doesn't react.

I'm sorry to hear about your issue but that has been the standard with Xperias for a while now, I still haven't experienced this, you should get in contact with your Local support to get it inspected and repaired.
