Thumbprint and tethering

Anyone else seeing a glitch after the latest update (Build 32.4.A.1.54)? When I use my Z5c (E5823) for tethering, the thumbprint scanner doesn't work again until I reboot.

I use AT&T if that matters.

Basically, I've noticed that if I turn on tethering/portable hot spot, everything seems to work fine and normal. Then I turn off tethering. Later, when I go to unlock the phone using the thumb sensor, nothing happens at all, like the feature is fully disabled. It stays that way until I reboot the phone and everything works right again.

Could you test the phone in >>> safe mode ? also, are you using the USA software or international firmware?

I'll give it a try and report back. I am using the international version (Australia); updating using the automatic system update (OTA)

Haven't been able to recreate the issue lately (in or out of safe mode), but right now it happened again.

Programs I've used lately:

Android Auto

Podcast Addict

Sony Email

Hootsuite

you could uninstall one by one until you find the culprit
