Xperia Z3+ Android 7.1.1 Tethering mode with call problem

Hello.

I just updated my Z3+ Dual Sim with the latest Sony Android 7.1.1. update.

Problem is that during tethering web broswing when i receive a phone call the data connection disconnects.

Before (with Android 7.0) i can web surf in tethering even when i received a phone call.

I think that this feature (broswing when you are in a phone speaking) was a nice feature introduced with Android 7.

Now this is a step back.

Why?

while on a phonecall your 4GLTE will most likely go to 3G, if you were on 3G your data will go even slower, that's probably the reason you think tethering isn't working while on a call.

No, it is not this the problem you mentioned.

It worked with Z3+ and Android 7.0 Firmware.

Same place, same 4G LTE Field (3 bars on the indicator).

When i receive a phone call while i'm web surfing with tethering it simply drops the data connection.

With Android 7.0 and same 4GLTE Field i web surfed well even when i received a phone call.

could you test this on >>> safe mode ?

also, check this while on data and while on a call

settings > about phone > status > signal strength.
