topic Mirroring issues after 7.1.1 update in Z Series

I have a Z5 compact and I recently upgraded to 7.1.1. Unlike many others I have no major battery issues or random crashes. My problem is that mirroring via chromecast or miracast is really suffering from lag. It worked before and other devices can mirror/cast without issues. I tried safe mode with no result. I want to avoid a factory reset if possible and was hoping for any other idea.
