Z5 won’t charge?

I have an issue of turning on my Z5.

When I plug it in it shows the battery sign with the lightning bolt and charges for a couple of minutes - with the red light solid, then proceeds to go to the white Xperia screen.

Because it’s not charged it turns off and it shows the battery 0% charge with no light.

I have tried to do a repair through the computer and the light turned blue, but did not get any further.

I have tried booting it in safe mode, and now the green light is solid, but is still not working.

What else can I try?

I know this is a bit of a basic answer but have you tried a different cable and charger?

I'm sorry to hear that but at this point you will have to contact your Local support to get it inspected.
