Help unlocking phone

Hi, I have got the Sony xperia z3 compact and the other day I cracked the screen I am now unable to access my phone as it as a pattern lock on and it does not sense the touch anymore is there anyway of unlocking it so that I can connect to computer to download the photos that have been saved to it. I have already tried to do this but can't do while it is locked any help would be great thanks.

Use an otg cable and connect a mouse to unlock

Hi @Sam53, welcome to our forum and I'm sorry to hear about what has happened to your device.

As @Viridis wrote, you can with the help of a OTG adapter, connect a USB mouse to your phone and navigate the touch screen with the mouse cursor.
