Problems w Z5 Dual after update

Im having several problems with my phone since the update which make it practicly unusable. My phone constantly loses reception and gets it back every couple of seconds, I dont know if for the same reason but my data internet doesnt work at all. The phone battery drains in 7-8 hours and it heats up with light use and sometimes even when idle. And I have also noticed that my headphone jack doesnt work. I have contacted sony several times and tried to repair the software twice with nothing changing. Because it is a dual sim Z5, Sony US won't repair it or even try to help me.

I'm sorry to hear about your issue but if you bought the phone anywhere but the US then the warranty its not valid, with that said, backup and repair the phone with XC >>> Xperia Companion and see if that solves the issue.

Like I said, I tried repairing the phone twice without any results, and technically Sony did this to my phone so I shouldn't need a warranty for them to fix their own mistake.

There's a way to figure out if its indeed an update issue or hardware, how?

You can manually flash the phone with a previous firmware.

Theres no reason to think that this could be a hardware issue, there are hundreds of people on this forum with same or similar problems, how could we all be experiencing the same hardware problems after the software update?

Like I said, you could figure it out, download flashtool/xperifirm and flash a previous update, or you can contact Sony directly >>> Local support as this is a user based forum.
