My Xperia Z5 is unstable

Hello. Before anything I am having the Xperia Z5 with the latest update 32.3.A.0.372 thats Andorid 7.0. The phone is virus free using currnet CM security.

I am having issues with the phone even before the update, at the time with Andorid 6.0. They are:-

Slow proformance, taking time to respond. On all the phone functionality.
Taking time in using Whatsapp. Even waiting for the keyboard to show up.
Opeing instegram and viewing the posts. Then sudenlly it stops responding for 5 to 10 seconds then works again. Sometimes the phone restarts.
Having Due SIM. Sometimes I am trying to call and after I select what line I want to call from the screen blacks out, sometimes it stuck in the list of quick contacts not even showing me the small menu to select lines I want to call from. I restart the phone to fix it.
Sometimes when I am talking to someone. Then I finish the call (close the line), the phone is stuck on that menu. And it takes minutes for it to realize the I have closed the line. To be fair I tried the home button and the phone menu works, so the phone is considered working. But the calling functionality is still stuck and I am unable to do any calls untill it closes by it self.

I'm sorry to hear about that.

How often do you experience this behaviour when you are either trying to select the SIM card that you want to call with or when trying to close to call, is it a every second call or can it happen once a week?

I would recommend that you restart your phone in safe mode and see if a third party application is the cause of this. In safe mode all applications that you have downloaded on your own won't be loaded.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the third party applications that are closing down / being slow? If you haven't done that I'd recommend that you do that, you can also make sure that they are updated to the latest version in the Google Play store.

Why Sony is provinding such a useless update with resolving issue. First of all UI is useless, providing a Good and better UI proving a useless UI and performance is degrading. Why cant we get a better feature like other companies are giving. Instead of making better phone UI it is useless UI. Pls update your UI asap.

4 and 5 issues I have to. Plus if I call someone from desktop widget, after call end, I try to call other contact but window about select number to call stuck on old contact page info.

After i updated my Z5 to 7.0 it became more slow and laggy and it's really annoying. Are they going to fix this?

I'm sorry to hear that you experience the same troubles.

Is there any change if you reboot your phone in safe mode?

Hi @dorukoski,

In addition to what @nolramlb recommended, make sure that the STAMINA mode isn't activated in your phone.

The new STAMINA mode has 3 different options and two of them will have an impact on the overall performance in the phone.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, have you completed the software repair or did you mean that you are currently doing it and will get back to us when it has been completed and you have had the chance to try this out again?
