Touch screen problem.

I can not pull down the taskbar section at the top of the screen. It is insensitive to the touch of a 3 mm section of paint from the top of the screen. I do not know how it came to this situation, there is no physical deformation on the screen due to impact. I set the device to software factory settings, but it has not improved. Sometimes it heals itself spontaneously What can be done?

I am sorry to hear about this issue.

To help identify if this is software or hardware I suggest trying to perform a diagnostics test on the device. Please see the instructions below.

Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Touch Screen.

Let me know what the result is.

I did the test you mentioned earlier. The upper part does not work as a 3 mm line.

Sony care in Ljungby consider that my Z3 is crap due to Sony's bad glue for the screen. Frame and back are ok and I could make phone calls and surf with it before sending it to Ljungby. Sony care wants to sell a "new" Z3 for $500.

I can't swipe down as the top screen is insensitive to touch. I have run some tests but to no avail. Please help me Sony
