System UI has stopped working

This is the second time this has happened with this phone. I get the error message 'Unfortunately System UI has stopped working' there is only an OK button option. This then turns my screen black and I can't do anything with the phone other than shut it down. This happens even after a soft reset and I don't have the time to start anything before it crashes again. Any helpful solutions?

I've been encountering this problem recently as well. It happened as frequently as twice a day and seeing that nothing's working, I'm scared because I don't have money to get another phone either...

I keep getting system UI has stopped message. I switched on some features for some Apps and now it won't let me switch them back. Now some other Apps won't work properly.When I get system UI has stopped message the only thing I can do is restart the phone.

How do I solve this?

Double tapped my screen the other night and it was blank hit the power button and got the clock back and said that the system u I had crashed I restarted it and it happened again but since I've turned it off and on again it's been fine looked in settings support and it said that my system u I had crashed and took me through what to do but seems fine now anyone else had this problem and what causes it thanks ppl.

Don't know tried to follow on screen instructions and some of them which I need to use won't let me so don't know what to do need some help cos it's happening more frequently.

If we're all having this problem ten there must be quite a few more ppl also may I suggest some kind of virus.

Hi , you can try this 2 method :

#Method 1

1. Remove sim card , and sd card from your phone.

2. Press the red button which is located nearby to the Sim Card reader with needle for sim or toothpick for about 6 second until you hear vibration then releasse and see if the phone boot's up normaly .

#Method 2

1.Make sure your phone battery is charged

2. Press together Vol + and Power button for few second until you hear vibration then releasse and see if the phone boot's up normaly.

#Method 3

Do a Factory Reset

#Method 4

1.Go to PlayStore and Search for Google Chrome

2. Unistall Google Chrome and Reboot normaly your device.

3.If the problem is stil there , try to Update Google Chrome and do Reboot

#Method 5

-Go to PlayStore and try to install another Launcher for your phone

This is related to any new software updates that happen by default by sony.

To resolve this, first enter into Safe mode of the phone system.

Step 1: When you get the power off screen long press power off option on screen to go to safe mode.

Step 2: Phone now restarts with Safe mode on.

Step 3: Reset what's new to factory default. Remove any unnecessary apps.

I have to remove lots of Sony system apps.

This might happen each time, there is a sony apps updates.
