My Z5 compact has stopped showing me the media volume slider.
If I tap the hardware up/down volume buttons when NOT playing music, then I adjust the notification/alarm volume as expected and I see the volume slider with the alarm bell symbol adjusting on-screen.
If I adjust the volume when I AM playing music, then the media volume adjusts correctly, but I'm no longer seeing the right slider. All I see is the same alarm bell slider, (not moving).

Thank you for your swift reply 🙂

I'm happy to report that not only did the problem disappear in safe mode, but when I rebooted back to normal, it did not re-appear!

So many thanks again for a quick fix. I guess I should have thought of safe mode, but "turn it off and on again" hadn't helped!
