High CPU usage when phone idles

I have a Z3+ that one night started consuming alot of CPU, I have a screenshot of when it happend because Its possible to see when the drain starts. See the knee at roughly 1 A.M. ( then I was a sleep )

I have used a busy box to see that its not the battery that went bad, its a stedy consumption of ~8.0/8.0/8.0 in the CPU usage.

So I go the recomendation to put the phone safemode to rule out any third party applications.

This is phone in failsafe mode, sitting at a desk doing nothing. Still CPU consumtion is really high.

Now I have just about uninstalled every app I got on the phone and still no resolution to the problem.

Using android 6.0.1, Kernel version 3.10.84-perf-g0802f10

Any one that does have any idea to fix this?

Hello @TorSuneson, welcome to the community!

I'm sorry to hear your phone is experiencing this behavior.

First of all I would recommend that you try and boot your device without any SIM- or SD-card inserted. Try running it for a few hours and see if it is showing the same behavior.

If the behavior persists in safe mode, I would recommend that you try and perform a software repair on your device as the screen shots you've uploaded doesn't show what is causing your battery to discharge at such a high rate. The software repair is to rule out that there is anything with the software causing this behavior. I would advice that you try using your device for a few hours before you restore any backups or data in order to rule out corrupt data being behind this.
