background light problem

hello i have a probllem with my xperia z2 phone the background light is not working altough its on the maxed britghness , but if i turn all the light and sit in dark place i can see a liitle brightness on the screen , i change the screen monitor and nothing happend i found some soulotion on the internet to remove the sensor for the light on make a jumper but unfortunately nothing happen to my device while doing it so could you please help me ?
