What does it actually cover? I think if you buy a phone or TV or whatever you are better just leaving the thing in its box because any microscopic mark could potentially invalidate yr warranty.

Physically damaged that's a good 1 how many people don't incur slight blemishes from everyday use a scratch will make the warranty invalid the warranty isn't worth the paper it's wrote on the warranty is valid when buy the phone & leave the phone in its box.

@jackedoff: i am not payed by sony, i am regular user here. and not everyone do go to a service center when they have problems. some can be fixed , that is what we are doing here in the forum we help those people. . and you are really very unhelpful to others by commenting unhelpful things in others posts which are genuinely asking for help. with that you are violating the guidelines and do not be surprised if you get banned by a moderator. If you have problems with your service center, go ahead and give them a visit, talk to the supervisor or the manager. just stop spamming other posts. and you are just wasting your time here , most people already know and have shared their experiences with their local service center, some good some bad. and you just have to deal with it.

I'm giving my advice on the topics I feel I can contribute. I cannot say anything positive about the local support because I haven't experienced anything positive about my local support. If you start banning people because people share a different opinion well that's not much of a cohesive community chat. The service centres are a waste of time as you well know you get absolutely nowhere same old protocol jargon speech. I honestly don't understand why you are getting upset & threatening me with a moderator banning me. The advice about going to a local independent phone shop was good advice it's alot cheaper than getting your phone fixed from Sony & it's completed alot quicker if you think that's unhelpful advice I wouldn't like to see your helpful advice.

You don't think it's helpful me exposing Sony for what they really are? It's greed nothing more nothing less I reckon it would have cost Sony £20 to sort my legitimate problem out. In return me & my family have boycotted there products my brother this weekend was going to buy a new top of the range HD TV won't buy Sony will buy LG or Samsung now. It will cost Sony more than £20 in sales there are losing. A multi million/billion dollar business will probably not lose much sleep over this but I will tell you something for free you start upsetting too many people with that same mindset as well that money grows & you lose repeat business then you get a reputation then you eventually struggle. It will happen if there don't stop being greedy it's a question of when not if. Anyway I've said enough on this forum now so you won't be hearing from me again there really isn't a need to ban me. I will be buying a S8 this weekend so no need to really come onto this forum again & comment on everything breaking. Goodbye.
