Sorry to hear of your problem, however, if you don't want the fuss of sending it of for repair and if out of warranty the high cost, you can use a work around?
I don't have your problem but I have just purchased a case which if paired with a wireless charging dock, will charge your phone but at a lower ampage.
You still have to plug your case into your USB port, but the lying flat of your device plus angle of cable from case, may help your problem get a constant charge without the cable keep moving out of position.
I purchased them of Amazon £12 case and £7.00 charger, which are of great quality for the price point and free next day shipping if you have prime.
If you are interested in this solution, contact me and I will give the description of them to purchase.
