Z1 campat warmer after reset?!

Hi!
Today I did a hard reset on my Xperia Z1 compact, to fix a few smaller troubles.
After that, the battery takes longer to charge, and the phone is warmer, all the time, than it used to be. Not really hot but definitely warm. What's happening?

Thanks... I need to charge to 80% to do the repair on xc, and it just won't charge!
Used to take approx 2 hrs from 15% to 100%.
Now it hasn't reached 50% after 4 hrs... 😞

Try a different wall charger and turn off the device, I doubt that resetting the device cause this.

Hi @Ibaneza,

I'm sorry to hear about that.

You may experience that the phone gets a bit warmer after completing a factory reset or software repair, this is because the phone has to synchronize with all your accounts, update applications to the latest version and so forth.

As @uliwooly suggested, try charging the phone when it's either turned off or while it's rebooted in safe mode to make sure that a third party application isn't the cause of the phone charging slower than before.

According to the specifications it should take around 3 hours to charge the phone from 0% to 100% with the charger that was included together with your phone.
