Circle shows up on screen

Recently, my phone has developed an annoying problem. When typing, for instance when texting, a 'circle' appears when I'm hovering over letters. Actually, it will type the letter or symbol without me actually touching the screen at all. I've tried to check the settings of my text, but nothing shows up.

Any help in rectifying this would be appreciated.

@Supatramp Any chance you have enabled glove mode or show touches in developer options?

Hi @Supatramp, welcome to our forums!

I'm sorry to hear about, must be very irritating.

Like @alexdon mentioned, it does sound like you have enabled Glove mode in your phone and that is why you see this circle at times when typing.

If you go to Settings > Display in your phone, is Glove mode enabled here? If it, turn it off and see if you still notice a circle appearing in your screen while for example, writing a text message.

Glove mode is a feature that enables you to use the screen while wearing gloves, which is great especially here in the Nordics where it can be get quite cold at times!

If glove mode is turned off and you still see the circle, I would recommend rebooting your phone in safe mode to make sure a third party application isn't the cause of this.
