My Xperia 1's fingerprint scanner stop working after software updated. Even if I try to re-register, it seems like it's not there at all.

the fingerprint scanner has stopped working, either with Bluetooth in the car or NFC when paying in the store !!!

Try in safe modes to test your finger scanner. It works fine for me until I configure the input from the print to online banking ... I have some kind of software conflict !!

In safe mode, it also doesn't work. Guess the mode, fix the software ...

Either wait until December, for Android 10, or select the mode - Repair Software, from Technical Support ...

Nothing helped, safe mode, repair the software, reset to factory settings. Waiting for android 10, or give it back for a guarantee ... ;-(
