I think burn in/image retention will never be happen, because the pill moves from time to time a little bit?!

Is there an ability to hide the small thin bottom navigation bar/pill when using full navigation gestures? I'm using Xperia 1.

This is because it is taking screen space and also can lead to burn in/image retention of the bar/pill.

This feature to hide while still using full gestures is already present in Samsung and Huawei smartphones.

I see, I will have to further research about that.

But there is still the problem of the bar taking up screen area.

In a 21:9 phone we should be able to take full advantage of the screen.

I think we should all contact the Sony Android Software Development Team and ask for this fix.

It's only a small change that should be no issue for the development team, but it's a huge change in terms of the functionality, aesthetics, and longevity of the phone.

I'm going to contact Sony Support and I ask everyone to do the same hopefully.
